Role overview

The labour market survey is intended to ensure that marginalized OOSGs benefit from having fulfilled and dignified lives from decent employment or enterprises that they choose. The study findings are anticipated to support in informed choice of skills that are in demand in the labour market or that would see them set up successful business enterprises.

Skills, qualifications and experience

a) Relevant previous experience with labour market studies in an economic reform context.
b) Good analytical and writing skills, and good ability in manipulating, analyzing and reporting survey information.
c) Proven research and economic analysis experience, including 10 years of working experience
d) Demonstrated understanding of the entrepreneurship and livelihoods sector specifically as it relates to start-up enterprises for youth with low levels of educational attainment and non-formal skills
e) Good understanding of inclusion issues
f) Broad previous experience with multi-country/county evaluations
g) Excellent analytical, facilitation, communication and report writing skills.
h) At least a master’s degree in relevant field
